This Privacy Policy explains how maxisastrology.com.tr ("Maxis", "we") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our astrological calculation tools, interpretation services, and consultations. By using the Platform, you accept the practices described here.

2. Data We Collect
a) Data you provide directly:
- Account data: name, email, password (stored only in irreversibly hashed form — no one, including us, can read the plaintext).
- Birth data: date, time, and place of birth entered when using calculation tools. If you enter birth data for someone other than yourself, you confirm you have their informed consent.
- Contact & consultation data: name, email, phone, and notes provided when requesting a consultation.
b) Data collected automatically:
- Technical data: IP address, browser/device information, language preference, pages visited — processed for security, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
- Cookies: See Section 7.
3. A Note on Birth Data
The combination of birth date, time, and place can identify a person with high probability. We therefore treat birth data with special care: it is processed solely for astrological calculation and (upon your request) interpretation; it is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing; and anonymous (non-account) calculation records are automatically deleted on a periodic basis (see Section 6).
4. Purposes and Legal Bases
We process your data to: run calculation tools (performance of contract / consent); create and manage accounts (contract); provide consultations (contract); generate AI interpretations upon request (consent); ensure security and prevent fraud (legitimate interest); comply with legal obligations such as invoicing (legal obligation); and send newsletters/marketing where you have opted in (consent).
5. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers necessary to deliver the service, and only to the extent required:
- Hosting/infrastructure: [hosting provider].
- CDN & security: Cloudflare.
- Email delivery: [Brevo etc.] — your email for transactional and informational messages.
- Payment (for paid services): iyzico (Turkey) and/or Paddle (international). Your card details are never stored on Maxis servers; payment occurs in the provider's secure environment.
- AI interpretation engine (upon your request): data derived from your chart is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic, based in the USA). This constitutes an international transfer and occurs only with your explicit consent. You may choose not to use this feature.
We may disclose data to authorities where legally required.
6. Retention
- Account data: while your account is active; deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after account deletion (subject to legal retention duties).
- Anonymous calculation records: temporarily retained for the calculation function and automatically deleted within [90] days.
- Invoicing/financial records: as required by tax law (generally 5 years in Turkey).
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies (session, security, language). Analytics/performance cookies are enabled only if you consent. You can manage preferences via your browser or our cookie notice.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (KVKK/GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to processing, and data portability. To exercise these rights, contact [[email protected]]. We respond within the legally required period (30 days under KVKK).
9. Security
We apply technical and organizational measures including encryption (password hashing, HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure, but we apply industry-standard protections.
10. Children
The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18. We delete data of users we identify as under 18.

We may update this policy. We will notify you of material changes; the current version is always published here.
